Similarly to how we can establish the import settings to bring over statuses, it would be hugely helpful to be able to import section comments.

Hi Jordan Spellman! I've separated the comments import functionality into a new request, which already includes your vote. I'm closing this particular request since the section status import capability is already available - you can enable this in the settings when importing sections from templates. The option can be found in the import settings here:
